Your First Visit

What should I wear?  Wear what is comfortable.  Some people wear suits and dresses, others slacks and shirts.

Where should I park?  We have reserved  a place for you as our visitor.  Park in a visitor place to the west of the church.

Are there services for my children?  Yes!  Your children through 5th grade are welcome to join our Children's Church during the adult sermon.  We understand that sending your children with people you don't yet know can be uncomfortable for some, so please know that your children are welcome to remain with you during the worship service.

What about a Bible?  (What if I can't find mine)?  If you forget your Bible, or can't find it, there are Bibles in the pews that anyone is welcome to use. Passages are also projected on the large screens at the front of the sanctuary.

How long is the worship service?  Our worship service begins at 10:45 and is usually finished at Noon.

When I visit, will you make me stand up?  You are only asked to stand when everyone is standing.  We are a friendly congregation, and we practice greeting one another each Sunday.  You may find that some folks will notice that you are an unfamiliar face and stop by to welcome you.

What about an offering?  We provide the opportunity during our service for our congregation to worship by giving a financial offering.  We ask our visitors to use this opportunity to turn in a completed visitor card, which you will find with the Bibles and Hymnals.  We would love to have a record of your visit.

Are there other ministries, like Sunday School?  There are Sunday School classes for both children and adults, beginning at 9:30 each Sunday morning.  You should be able to find just the right group as there are several adult classes to try.
