20/20 Prayer & Bible Reading Guide
For the past 21 days, we have been taking a prayer journey through various scriptures focusing on revival and spiritual awakening. I hope this emphasis has challenged you and awakened in you a longing for the presence and power of God. We need Him desperately.
For the next 50 days (starting 9/13/20 and leading up to the election), we will be joining our Pensacola Bay Baptist Association in taking another journey through the book of 1 Peter. We are at a critical time in our nation and world, and we so need to hear what God is saying and see what He is doing.
The purpose of these Bible reading & prayer journeys is to bring our church family and community together for a concentrated spiritual pursuit. Please join us as we seek the Lord!
21 Day Prayer Journey
For the past 22 days, we have been reading through and praying Psalm 119. I hope this emphasis has challenged you to a greater appreciation for the Word of God and has built you up in your faith.
For the next 21 days (starting 8/23/20), we will be taking another prayer journey through various Scriptures that focus on revival and spiritual awakening. We are at a critical time in our nation, and the only hope we have is the mercy and grace of God. The purpose of these Bible reading & prayer journeys is to bring our church family together for a concentrated spiritual pursuit. Please join me as we seek the Lord!

From Pastor Steve:
Good morning church family,
Although worship is a daily way of life, today is special. It is the day we gather with our local church family to worship our Lord together. Do not miss the opportunity.
Things are a little different in church life because of the virus, but corporate worship is still vital to our spiritual health. Perhaps, we need the Body of Christ now more than ever. If you cannot come in person, join us on Facebook Live at 10:45 or a little later on Youtube.
You can find links to either of these on our webpage at “bellviewbaptistpensacola.com”. I am looking forward to seeing you in just a few short hours at Bellview.

From Pastor Steve:
Hope you are having a blessed 4th of July! As we look forward to a day of worship with our church family tomorrow, let me mention a couple of things to you.
Due to the continued rise in numbers of those testing positive for COVID-19 and due to the fact that we now have a church member and three family members of church members testing positive for the virus, we are asking that you make a special effort to adhere to these guidelines:
* Use hand sanitizer as you enter and leave
* Masks are not required but strongly encouraged (masks will be provided for those who do not have one)
* Sit 6 ft. apart
* Families are asked to sit together
As a reminder, childcare is not available at this time and Children’s Church and Sunday School are postponed until a later date.
Thank you for cooperating as we all work together in this strange time. Remember the words of Paul in Philippians 2:3-4. “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”

COVID19 Update from Pastor Steve
As you know, we had planned to start back Sunday School on July 5th. However, due to the recent spike in the number of those testing positive, the deacons and I decided yesterday afternoon to postpone SS until a later date.
We will meet again July 12th to re-evaluate our options and hopefully schedule a start-up date at that time. I can assure you that this decision was not made hastily, but very prayerfully.
We love our small group Bible studies and recognize the crucial role they play in our church health, but we felt it best to limit exposure to other people.
We will, however, continue having our Sunday morning worship service, doing our best to practice safe meeting procedures.
Remember, Jesus is Lord and we will see Him soon.
For His glory,
